Our Story

Friendly Foot was born from a problem every rock climber knows—smelly climbing shoes.

In 2002, while managing a climbing gym, I tried every shoe deodorizer I could find on my own shoes and our rental fleet. Nothing actually worked. Instead of masking odors, I wanted to eliminate the bacteria that caused them.

That simple idea led to eight years of researching, testing, and perfecting an all-natural formula that truly worked.

I never intended to start a business. I shared my product with climbing friends, who shared it with theirs. Demand quickly outgrew my kitchen, and in 2010 I turned my garage into a small production facility. With the help of friends and family, Friendly Foot was officially born.

Today, Friendly Foot has earned a U.S. patent and is sold in hundreds of retail locations across the U.S. and internationally. We remain a family-run business, producing every batch in-house using organic, all-natural, synthetic-free, and food-based ingredients whenever possible to ensure exceptional quality.

As we’ve grown into Friendly Fusion, LLC, our mission has stayed the same: create products that are safe, effective, and made with integrity.

Giving back has always been part of that mission. A portion of every sale supports organizations dedicated to improving lives and strengthening communities.
